Chapter 4. Mate!!!!

Ariella POV

"What took you so long?? Uncle Yelled at me and I flinched as I stepped backward.

"I'm so sorry Uncle, the crowd at the market was too much so I have to wait for my turn". I said bowing my head with fear written all over my voice.

"You just have to thank your stars that you have some important things to do or you would have been thrown into the catacomb by now."

"Get out of my sight and go make yourself useful for the Feast preparation." Aunty shouted at me and I rushed out of her sight.

I went straight to the kitchen to prepare some of the delicacies for the great Feast celebration.

A FEW HOURS LATER******

I cleaned the sweats from my forehead tiredly.

I was so exhausted and i needed a cold and refreshing bath to cool my nerves down.

I walked to the kitchen slope and rested my head on the wall.

I have not even rested for a minute when the chief maid screamed my name as if she is being chased by someone.

"Ariella, The chief maid called me and I turned around looking at her.

"You need to clean those dishes right now." She ordered.

"I nodded my head walking sluggishly to where the dishes were located."

Within some minutes I was done washing the dishes.

I cleaned my hands with the rag on my left and walked to the chief maid.

"I'm done washing the dishes." I told her and she signaled me to remain standing.

This lady is like the devil's best friend, she derives joy in seeing me suffer and tired.

"The Luna needs your presence right now." She told me.

I think I am lost here, how the hell did aunt Lilliana communicate with her. I asked no one in particular.

"Are you deaf? She questioned me jolting me off my thought.

"I'm sorry I apologized."

"Sorry for yourself who refused to get a mate." She sneered at me.

This doesn't even move me a bit because I am already used to her tortures.

I walked straight to where Aunt Liliana was sited.

Immediately I got to where she was, I gave her a slight bow before asking her why she sent for me.

"Aunt, the chief maid told me you needed my presence." I said.

"I don't need your presence, Arielle, because your presence seems very useless to me."

"Let's keep that aside.

"I will be giving you a sound warning that you would need to obey."

"On no account should I see you outside your room immediately after the party starts or you woupd get yourself doomed?"

"I want you to be in your room throughout the celebration and I wouldn't want to even see your shadow outside." Am I clear? She questioned me and I nodded my head.

"Now I want you to go straight to your room because the party is about to start." She said.

I walked straight to my room like a zombie that is being controlled.

Immediately I got to my room, I took off my clothes and walked straight to the bathroom to have my bath.

Minutes later, I came out of the bathroom dripping wet.

I dried my body with the towel and I wore my faded clothes.

After dressing up, I lie on the bed as I close my eyes and drifted to the fairyland.

A FEW MINUTES LATER***

I felt a light tap on my legs and opened my eyes.

My eyes went straight to who woke me and I found out it was a little kid.

I looked at her and all I could see is beauty.

She looks very beautiful and innocent.

I don't think this is a normal kid because she doesn't dress like a normal kid.

I guess she is from the royal family, her dress said it all.

"Hey. She said.

"Hello princess, how may I help you? I asked her with a smile on my face.

"I'm sorry for waking or disturbing you but I was pressed and I was searching for a place to pee but I couldn't find any."

"I came across a room slightly opened then I went inside and saw someone sleeping."

"I decided to wake you up and ask you if you can show me the way." She explained and I couldn't help but smile.

"It's okay princess, you don't need to be sorry." I said giving her my best smile and she giggled.

I stood up and walked straight to where she was standing, held her hands, and took her to where the restroom is located.

"Here we are, I broke the silence immediately we got to the restroom.

"Can you please wait for me so you can take me back because I don't know this place? She said giving me a cute puppy.

I nodded my head and she rushed to where I was and hugged me.

The hug doesn't last for a minute but I appreciate it.

This is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

No one has ever thanked me for what I did but here is this little beauty thanking me with a hug.

She ran to the restroom to do her business and she came out a few minutes later.

We walked to where I was and hold my hands.

Shall we?? I questioned

Yes. She said giving me a dramatic bow.

We were already halfway through where we were going to when I perceived a sharp Scent

I never could know the scent of werewolves because I wasn't one.

But today I perceived a scent.

_" I tried to ignore the scent but its compelling dominance was a savor for my nose.

For some crazy reason, it soothed me; made me feel like I had no problem in my upside-down life.

It smelled like coconut and strawberry. And ooh yes, I could also smell a bit of chocolate too. Is all this emanating From a human or food?'_

I think I'm running crazy.

The more I walked was the more the scent become nearer.

I tried cleaning my nose but it gets more worst as the scent filled my nose trills.

I increased my footstep as I was searching for the thing that bought the scent to my nostrils.

I was still walking when I saw a figure coming closer to me.

Immediately I set my eyes on the figure I felt a strong vibration on my body.

I couldn't wait as I ran to where the person was

" _I was stunned by the drop-dead beauty in front of me. It should be a crime for a man to be this gorgeous'_

I couldn't stop staring at him, I could still see him staring at me.

Then his eyes color changed for a single moment and then change back to his normal eyes.

Mate!!!!!!!!. And from inside of me I heard a girl yelling the word mate.

I blinked my eyes rapidly. Who just said it?
