It will be any time now. I still can’t believe that Bridget’s parents are coming here. Well, I guess that isn’t as shocking as when Wyatt told me my best friend’s mother used to be part of this pack. I can’t say I haven’t kind of figured it out when he mentioned there used to be someone in his pack that used to have the same abilities as Bridget. I put two and two together and quickly realize Wyatt was probably talking about Bridget’s mother.
Part of me is still wondering what my friend’s abilities are. Well, we know she has the ability to find werewolves, not just me or her family. Wyatt is nice enough to fill me in on all of that while we are waiting for Bridget’s parents to get to the pack.
The only issue I have now is why won’t he tell me what my ability is. He has confessed that I have an ability, but he keeps putting me off, no matter how hard I beg.
But now, I’m wondering if he doesn’t believe I can
Thank you for reading my story. I hope you are enjoying it. I would love it if you would take time to vote too.
Rose can’t help the smile that suddenly appears on her face, as her eyes land on not only her pack lands, but all the pack buildings, too. It has been so long since she has been here. Things have changed, but yet they have stayed the same. Her mate gasps as she continues to scan the horizon and keeps her eyes on the road. He sits up straight in his seat and asks, “Is this where our daughter is?” With a huge smile on her face, she nods. “Yes. Our baby girl came to my old pack.” “WHAT?! YOUR PACK!” She can’t control herself as a soft chuckle escapes her mouth. She nods her head and chimes, “Yes. Our daughter’s mate isn’t human. He is a werewolf, and he belongs to my pack. You are going to meet all my old friends and family.” Porsche suddenly turns towards her in his seat and fold his arms across his chest. “You said that your family died, and you were an orphan. Was th
With only a towel wrapped around Bridget, she dashes out of the bathroom towards Ford, who is sitting on the couch. She is so glad that she’s a werewolf right now, because no normal human could stand or walk if they took the pounding that she had taken over the last several days. No. If you ask her, she will be more than eager to go for more rounds with her amazing mate. But right now, there is something more important happening. She plops down next to Ford on the couch and nearly screams, “My parents are here. Baby, let’s go meet them. I have some time before my heat kicks back in.”He glances at her, and a low growl slowly fills the room. Shit. However, at the mention of her parents, he fights to stay in control. His eyes roam over her bare shoulders as pleasure pulses through his body. “Babe, you know we have to stay here. We never know when your
I still don’t understand why I must be the one to do this meeting. I know this contract will benefit Wyatt’s company, but I still don’t understand what else is going on. He did warn me to find out who else is working with the human company. From the information that he has given me, it appears to be a werewolf pretending to be a human, but neither Wyatt nor I have been able to figure out why.Our pack has a reason, but it is for the pack’s self-preservation and to hide ourselves. But are other packs having the same problem as us? I didn’t think so. Or are we just so far out of it we don’t know?Maybe it is time for us to go to the werewolf meetings again.I pull up to the hotel and grab my things before I head into the hotel.Well, I guess I should enjoy myself while I’m here. Right. I think I can count on one hand how many times I’ve left, and eac
I think my heat is finally gone. For the first time since I got here, I’m finally waking up with a clear head. Also, I don’t have the underlying desire to have Ford fill me with his seed. I’m not complaining, but I would like to actually talk with my parents and finish meeting the rest of the pack. I roll towards the nightstand near me. A small smile glides across my face. Ah, it is about 7am. I have plenty of time to get a quick shower and tell my parents to come to my room. However, I still don’t really trust myself, though. I don’t need to be in the middle of the dining hall surrounded by werewolves and have my heat kick back in. I don’t want to take the risk. I quickly mind link with my mother. “Mom, I think I’m fine this morning for you to come visit me and meet my mate. I’ll ask Katelyn and Alpha Wyatt to show you the way.” My mother’s voice chimes in my head, “Oh, I’m so excited.&n
Everything slowly seems to melt away into incoherent noises as I stare at Rose. She can read minds. Not only that, but she can also alter memories or even delete them. How could she not tell me?I know she made a pledge with her pack to not reveal anything about her abilities and the pack, but I’m her mate. She could have still told me.I continue to stare at her, but I don’t know what to think now. This is so much to take in. Shoot, most of it is stuff I didn’t even think was possible. Werewolves having abilities and being able to read minds.I thought that only happened in fiction stories.I’m pulled from my thoughts as a gentle, but small, fragile hand pats my shoulder. I turn my head towards the Supreme Elder. However, I don’t know what to say.She smiles at me as she stands in front of me and softly chimes, “Rose is still the same
Even though I’m keeping my face expressionless, I mentally smile to myself as I feel Katelyn and Porsche’s link form with our pack. I know it is only a matter of time before she becomes a part of our pack. However, I don’t know what has taken Wyatt so long to do the ceremony. I couldn’t help but to take a peek into her mind while she was training. I know she has no intention of going back to her old pack and she loves it here. She even likes training with me.However, I have to keep my mind clear and focus on the business meeting. Wyatt won’t be happy if I mess this project up. I look across the conference table at an older gentleman along with his middle-aged son. They both seem to be calm. However, the middle-aged son has a few drops of sweat forming on his forehead.I clear my throat and look back down at the contract. With my pen, I make scratches and comments on t
It has been a few days since I’ve discovered what my ability is. However, I still can’t believe I’m a healer. Dang. I don’t even know how that works. Do I just wave my hands over the person and they are healed? Or what? Now, I understand why Wyatt said he would wait until I start my medical degree at the university before he would tell me what my ability is. I’m sure somewhere deep in my subconscious, I have known that I’m a healer. That also explains why I’m always trying to bandage and fix people when I was younger.I can’t wait to start my training sessions with the elders. The only thing the Supreme Elder has instructed me about is that our abilities aren’t to be taken lightly. I already know that, and I don’t think I will soon forget. For right now, the only ability I can use is reading people’s minds. That ability has al
I’m so happy to finally be able to walk around not only the pack house, but the pack lands. Don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely happy to have found my mate and to have Ford claim me, but if I had to stay in our bedroom much longer, I think I would have gone crazy. Well, that would be after Ford made love to me all night long. However, now, I can actually start to learn about my pack more. Shoot. I’m still shocked my family is always a High Elder here. I’m still trying to figure out how the pack worked when my mother wasn’t here, but mom did say she was in constant contact with the Supreme Elder. I’m sure part of it was doing pack business. Even though she was part of dad’s pack, mom never really left her pack ever. She is still a High Elder. That blows my mind. I walk down the hallway towards the room where the elders will be training both Katelyn and me. The elders realize our lessons with t
