I Don't Want Him Back Anymore

“What are you doing here?” I asked Cielo who is in front of me.

I saw him gulp intensely. “I told you in my text, that I want to talk to you,” he said. “Have you not read it?”

Instead of answering him, I just rolled my eyes and gazed at the wall beside us. I sighed, not answering why I decided to agree to talk to him at the back of the Starbucks coffee shop. We even left Mitch inside!

“Jill,” he called me, but I did not turn to him. “I know that you do not want to talk to me, but I have been thinking things a lot lately…”

I furrowed my eyebrows and slowly turned to him. His eyebrows were parted and his eyes were flickering with guilt and sadness.

“I was thinking about you since our break-up,” he continued. “And I realized that I love you and that I could never be able to lose you, Jill…”
