Chapter Fifteen: Desire Like Fire

I slowly begin to stir out of my sleep, I didn’t know how long I had been asleep for, but I can say one thing, it felt nice to get some rest. Opening up my eyes, I clock the black sky outside telling me I had been asleep all day, I can’t believe I wasted the day sleeping! Yes, I am aware of how much I spoke about sleeping in that one section.

Before I had time to get up and move, a knock on my bedroom door sounds and in walks Vito, smiling over at me once he saw that I was awake. As he walked through the doorway, I spot he was in a completely different suit than what he was wearing this morning and a brown box which looked as though as it would hold food in his hands.

“Vito?” I ask a little confused if my mind was still half asleep, I know he was so kind to me this morning helping me clean the house and well, even coming to visit me at all, but I didn’t think he’d return now.
