KEENA

Jarek releases me from the wall and grabs ahold of my hand dragging me back to the front of the building.

Just as we are about to round the corner of the building a loud snarl from behind us grabs our attention. Jarek and I both turn around and see two large wolves stalking towards us. Unlike the rogues that fought at the mansion a few nights before these two don't have matted fur and they don't smell like rotting flesh. That can mean only one thing. These are pack members.

Jerking me by the hand, Jarek races towards the parking lot with the wolves quickly on our heels. I dare to look behind us as we run and there is no one outside any longer. The clock must have chimed for the first class to start.

"Move faster," Jarek hisses at me as he runs to his red sports car. He flings the passenger side open and shoves me inside before running to the drivers side.

Without hesitation Jarek reaches over me and buckles my seatbelt. He then puts his car in drive and peels
