In the dimly lit expanse of my bedroom, I meticulously completed the intricate summoning circle as the surrounding candles flickered.

It could as well be the ramblings of a woman close to death. But I knew better than to dismiss things.

The temperature dropped, and I could see my breath in the cold air.
