Chapter 21

When Dean came back to the hospital, Dylan was already moved to the room, lying on the hospital bed still unconscious. They said that he is out of danger now and his vitals are steady and normal. And he’ll wake up after a couple of days. They even said it was surprising since Dylan went on flatline during surgery.

Dean walked towards his brother and stood on his side, in his mind, he kept repeating that his brother will wake up soon. He believes he can and he will.

But two weeks had passed already but still no sign of Dylan waking up soon and the only progress was they had already got rid of the tubes connected to his body from a machine and were replaced with a regular oxygen mask.

Dianne is becoming very emotional as days pass by. She never left her son’s side, she’s not eating well also. Dean is very worried about his mom. Jamie, who also stayed with them and never left their side, always persuades Dianne to at least have a little bit to fill her stomach and Dylan wouldn’t like
