“What are you doing, Lady Vastria? That was a werewolf. You cannot trust if they will or will not attack.” Elcid protested while being held to the ground by Vastria.
Vastria got off Elcid getting to her feet and pointed to the forest feeling out of breath, “That werewolf was Meagan.”
Meagan was talking with her friend, Vastria, since she was taken to the demon lord’s mansion. She wanted to save her from these monsters and bring her back to her old life, however, it seems fate had other plans for her friend. She learned little from what Vastria told her and learned that now her friend is in more danger than before. Her friend’s powers of the witches have awoken, and the wolves did not want that to happen. The werewolves in the past were hunted and used for experiments for the wit
Meagan survived the interrogations from her pack, namely her father regarding her own friend. Her father learned that her friend encountered his daughter in her wolf form and forbade her from leaving the forest. Her father detests witches. Soon as he became alpha at a young age, he led the wolves attack on the witches. Ridding their life of the very threat to his kind. The witches had killed his parents when he was merely seven years old. He had to led at that young age. Soon as he learned of the death of the g
This Friday morning was the day Vastria was due to meet Remus’ family. Vastria was nervous. Her father was also nervous. He wanted to have a demon guard with her, but the noble family requested otherwise. The last of Vastria’s luggage was placed in the vampire limo. It was a black limo with blacked out windows. The limo seemed slimmer than the one Vastria rode to the mansion. This would be a different experience altogether.
It took some time for Remus’s men to clear the fallen tree. Vastria wanted to leave the limo to walk around, but Remus would not allow it. It frustrated her. She wanted to stretch her legs since she was riding in the limo for hours. Vastria watched the vampire guards pacing around the perimeter of the limo and decided to ignore Remus. She got up and made her way out of the limo. Remus grabbed her arm before she closed the door. “What are you doing?”“I want to stretch my legs. I cannot stay in the limo much longer or my legs will cramp, and I will not be comfortable nor pleased.”Remus sighed. “Okay fine, walk around, but stay close to me.” Vastria nodded as Remus let go of her arm and got out of the limo. Vastria looked around the area. It was dark in the area with the trees covering them from the sun. The sun would peek a little through the leaves as the wind blew them. Vastria walked to the front of the limo stretching her arms above her head yawning was Remus followed her close b
Vastria and Remus in the limo finally reached his family’s estate. They passed through the black high metal gate as it opened for them and closed behind them. They drove up a hill to the house. Vastria looked out the window to se the scenery. The yard was surrounded by high rock walls with vines crawling up the walls. Guards were posted at the entrances to the estate. The estate was like an open yard, lushed with greenery. The mansion at the center was a castle. It looked nearly like a medieval times castle with history.
Vastria was shown to her new living quarters for the weekend being led by Remus. The corridor they took was darkened. Small lamps posted on the walls did not give much light. The lights flickered as if it were candles, but it was indeed electric powered. She could not see the portraits on the wall clearly with the lighting as they passed a few on the way to their suite. The corridor was long and there were no other doors as they walked down the corridor. Remus opened the door to the joint suite. Inside was a co
Vastria woke the next morning a bit confused. She sat up fast in her bed looking around before remembering where she was. The air in the room was cool to the touch, but not overwhelmingly cold for a castle. She stretched as she gets up out of bed looking at the gift box, she removed from the bed earlier. She picked it up and sat it on the bed next to her. She wondered what could be inside. She slowly undid the ribbon and took off the lid. Inside was a lovely white dress. Victorian designed dress with a corset. She took it out of the box to examine it further when an envelope fell out of it. She then laid the dress upon the bed and picked the envelope off the floor. The envelope only had her name on it, so she opened to read the letter. The letter was from Mrs. Lily Rosenburg, Remus’ mother. The letter read:I was so happy to finally meet you my beloved new daughter. I know you do not have a mother to ask for assistance and I hope to be that help when it comes to planning your weddin
Remus took Vastria to his mother’s rose garden. She at first wanted to look around the castle as she looked for the rose garden, but unfortunately, their discussions over her creative writing took longer than expected. They were not able to get around the topic of Remus himself. The two were at the garden entrance when behind them, Remus was called away by his father. Vastria was left alone.
