“I somehow miss being treated like a princess.” Maddie mutters while Eliza is combing her hair. It made the little girl chuckle which caused Maddie to blush. “It’s really you who I missed, Eliza.” She glanced at her but Eliza just kept brushing Maddie’s hair.
“I’m telling the truth.” Maddie faced her totally so Eliza chuckled again.
“Is it really me who you missed or is it the great Theo?” Eliza has a playful smile on her lips which causes Maddie to blush hard.

Maddie sighed and continued pacing in her room. Eliza already left after helping her get ready and she was supposed to follow her but she doesn’t have the energy to do so. After a long deliberation, Maddie sat and groaned in frustration. She covered her face with her palms and groaned again but the heavy weight in her chest is still present.“Why do I feel like this?” She stood and looked outside. She can see a few people hanging out by the lake.Two days ago, she was fine and the presence of Theo did not bother her but after that night, she knew that something had changed between them. It was not her intention but her feelings just came rushing out of her and Maddie knew that it made Theo’s hopes up, especially since he's been vocal with his feelings for her.

Flora couldn’t hide her smile while treating Maddie’s wrist. She couldn’t believe that she had finally met the woman who owns the heart of the great Theo. The other gods and goddesses are waiting for their turn as they silently stand around her and it only makes Maddie more conscious.“Although we only meet when I heal you, it is still an honor.” Flora nervously chuckled which caused Maddie to smile shyly. Maddie tossed and turned but she couldn’t escape her thoughts. In the end, she chose to go out on the balcony to get some fresh air. She hugged herself as it is now twice as cold since it is late at night. Maddie sighed before looking up. For a second, she was mesmerised by the beauty of the moons which had become one. The one behind contrasts the one in front with its vibrant red color which gives it a fine outline. Maddie sighed once again out of frustration because not even the magical beauty of the moons can take her mind off of Theo.“Did I make the right decision?” She sat on the bench and looked up in hopes that the moons could give her a miracle.In fact, Maddie is confused. Maddie finished her milk bath then wore the clothes Eliza prepared. After that, she started drying Maddie’s hair. She feels extra special today because Theo said that they will go somewhere special. Maddie’s first thought was that he will introduce her to his parents but Eliza mentioned that the former rulers were far gone. That left Maddie anxious yet excited. She keeps on thinking of the possible places they can go to and given the majestic place, everything is special.Given what happened the other night, Maddie felt differently about Theo. She knows it’s still far from love but he is making her little heart pound. She unconsciously smiled when she remembered how they danced in the most comfortable silence she had ever experienced. Eliza looked at Maddie worriedly as she was staring at herself for a few minutes now. It’s like she is not herself. Eliza is hesitating to snap her out of her thoughts in fear that it will anger her. Maddie slowly spun as Flora checked her dress. Eliza gave her two thumbs up which made Maddie smile. Flora clasped her hands when Maddie faced her.“As expected, you suit the dress.” Flora said while gently dusting off the skirt of the dress.Maddie’s face burned and all she managed to give as a response was a shy smile. Eliza helped her remove the simple cream floral dress that Flora designed herself. She immediately went to her, bringing the dress that will be her wedding gown, as soon as she heard the news that Maddie and Theo are getting married in two days time. It was not only her that is exuberant for the upcoming union but as well as the other gods and goddesses. They even started delivering their gifts to Maddie in advance.Maddie

Eliza hurriedly went to Theo who’s having his morning meeting with the guards. Despite her growing nervousness and fear, the servant still took all her courage with her when she entered the room. Theo quickly stabbed her with his glare so Eliza quickly bowed her head.“I apologize, my lord.” She breathlessly said with her head still down.
