Luca's Ominous Dream

"Luca, hurry! We have to get out of here!" Someone yelled ahead of Luca. He looked around but couldn’t see who the voice belonged to. Luca felt the urge to run away, but from what? He didn’t have to wonder for long when suddenly, he saw a giant wolf shrouded by shadows, snarling and rampaging towards them…… ‘Wait, us? Who else is running with me?’

Luca began to run in the direction of the voice that spoke to him earlier, not sure as to where they were going, or if he was making the right decision. Luca continued to run as fast as he could until…

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!" Luca heard Kir scream suddenly. Luca knew that something was wrong, but he couldn’t seem to convince his feet to move any closer.

"No no no no no, please gods, don't let him die..." Kir sobbed in the distance.

Luca was finally able to move again, but it was too late. He approached Kir’s trembling body but the giant wolf snatched her up before he could react.

Luca looked up at the world, holding Kir in his jaws, and noticed that the wolf looked ver familiar… but how did he know him? From where?...

"You bastard!!" Kir yelled as she transformed into a giant demon cat.

"YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!" Kir screamed as she swiped at the wolf. The wolf dodged the attacks as Luca looked down for the first time to see Inuharu’s limp body lying on the ground, in a pool of his own blood.

“Asher, how could you do this?!” Kir questioned as she went in for another failed swipe at Asher’s wolf. ‘Wait…. Asher Killed Inu?! But why? And how?’

"Poor, sweet, little Kir....TSK TSK TSK..why are you so mad at him? He did you a favor. No more big brother, getting in the way of your future. Now you can marry Luca and surrender your powers to him, without anyone standing in the way. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Wait, what? Luca, you did this?" Kir looked at Luca with scarlet eyes that resembled the pool of blood by his feet.

"No! I didn't know anything about this, I swear!"

"I don't want this! I refuse to be a part of this!" Luca yelled out.

"Luca, don't you dare do what I think you're about to do!!" The mysterious man yelled. Luca ignored the man and shifted into his wolf before walking towards the direction of the voice. Luca could almost make out the man’s face but he was stopped in his tracks by the sound of Kir’s scream.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Kir screamed. Luca looked up and saw Asher’s wolf coming towards him at full speed, claws and teeth at the ready… Luca closed his eyes, prepared for the impact, as he knew that there was no way he could dodge the attack in time.

When Luca felt the blood splatter across his face, and heard a huge thud, he opened his eyes and saw Asher’s limp body hanging from Kir’s jaws.

"Ki-" Luca cut himself off as he noticed Kir’s body begin to writhe in pain. “What’s happening?!” Luca yelled out.

"NO! You idiot!! Why would you do that?!" The man yelled out at Kir. Kir suddenly transformed back into a human and Luca ran to catch her as she fell.

"I'm glad you're safe, Luca." Kir said softly.

"I don't understand, what's going on? YOU killed HIM, so why do you look like you're the one that's dying?" I asked as I began to cry.

"Oh, sweet, sweet, Luca, you still don't understand anything about me..." She whispered, before closing her eyes for good.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Luca screamed out as he quickly sat up.

One of the maids rushes into his room. "What's wrong Master Luca? Are you alright?" She asked worriedly.

"Where am I?" Luca asked her, confused as to what just happened.

"You're in one of the guest rooms, in Bastet Manor, sir." She replied calmly. "You must have forgotten due to all of the drinking you did, after finding out that Miss Kir is not only your mate, but also the mate of two others." She added, with a slight hint of distaste.

Luca cleared his throat, realizing that it was all a dream. However, he couldn’t seem to shake the feeling that there might be some meaning behind it… “I have somewhere I need to go for a bit, could you please let Kir know that I’ll see her at school?” Luca asked, as nicely as possible.

"Yes, Master Luca." The maid replied before leaving the room. Luca quickly showered and got dressed before heading out to go see the only person that would be able to make sense of the odd dream, and the foreshadowing feeling he got from it, Moose’s father, Lord Dragolifia.

As Luca pulled up to the Dragolifia Mansion, the pit in his stomach only seemed to grow.

"Who the hell said that you could come here, WOLF." A thundering voice came from above Luca as he stepped out of his car.

"Lord Dragolifia, great to see you as well, how is the missus?" Luca asked casually.

"Lord Luca! It's so nice to see you again, sweetheart!" Lady Dragolifia said cheerfully as she rushed up to hug him.

Luca laughed, "it's great to see you as well, my lady." Luca responded with a smile as he returned her hug.

"Oh honey, get down here and stop being so rude to our guest!!" Lady Dragolifia scolded her husband. The red and black dragon swooped down as he began to transform back into his human form.

"Good, now apologize to him." The lady demanded.

"What?! But Loleira..." The great dragon lord started to whine to his wife, before she smacked the back of his head.

"It's quite alright, Lady Dragolifia, it was rude of me to come over unannounced, and uninvited." Luca explained.

"Oh, no, dear! Don't you worry at all, you're always welcome to come by, whenever you please. And I'm sure you have your reasons." She soothed, causing her husband to grumble slightly.

"So why exactly have you decided to grace us with your presence?" Lord Dragolifia asked, with a gruff.

"Well actually, I've come to speak with you, great dragon lord, about a peculiar dream I had last night." Luca replied honestly, without letting his fears show.

"Come with me, Lord Luca, we will go to my study so you can give me the details of this peculiar dream." The lord said before leading Luca into the mansion.

Luca followed him into the mansion, which was still just as magnificent as he remembered it. They proceeded up the first flight of stairs and into the door of the fourth room on the left.

"Please, sit." The man said with a much more relaxed demeanor than when they were outside.

"Tell me, what about this dream made you feel that you need my help?" The man asked with curiosity.

"Lord Dragolifia, the easiest way to explain why I felt the need to come here, would be to describe the specific details of this dream." Luca responded honestly.

"Alright, let me hear what it is that has you so concerned, Lord Luca." Lord Dragolifia said, before allowing Luca to tell him what happened.

After telling Lord Dragolifia the details of his dream and the feeling that followed after waking up from it, they sat in silence for a moment.

"I see, you were right to come here as quickly as you did Luca... this was no ordinary dream that you had. It was a look into the future, of what is to come, if things do not change." He told Luca.

"What do you mean my Lord?" Luca asked, genuinely confused.

"This dream was your goddess warning you, that someone close to you will cause not only the death of our queen, but also, the death of all those around her. She wants you to know what is to come, because you are the one that must change the course of events that lead up to Kir's death." He said before pausing.

"If I were you, I would do everything possible to find out who is close enough to you to want Kir to give you her powers. Who would want you to rule over the kingdom, so much that they would be willing to kill to make it happen?" He asked Luca.
