Chapter 6: A Failed prospsal

Prince Alexander's absence from his proposal ceremony to Princess Victoria of Maxoria sends shockwaves through the kingdom. The grand event, meticulously planned for months, is now shrouded in confusion and disappointment.

As King Maximilian, Alexander's father, grows increasingly impatient, he demands to see his son. The king's advisor, Lord Cyril, steps forward to provide an explanation on Alexander's behalf. He explains that the prince has fallen gravely ill and is confined to his chambers under the care of the royal physicians.

Reluctantly accepting the news, King Maximilian expresses his concern for his son's well-being. He insists on sending his personal physician to attend to Alexander and ensure a swift recovery, but he is unaware that his personal physician isn't let into the prince's chambers but bribed to remain silent about the prince's Condition.

Behind closed doors, however, a different scene unfolds. Alexander, far from being sick, paces restlessly in his private study.
