Unknown POV
I love The Fab F.O.U.R. I'm their biggest fan.
I have followed them from the beginning of their careers. They are the most perfect girls to ever exist. They all bring something different to the table.
Fiona brings the cool element. You can never tell what she's thinking and she always has a calm demeanor. She's always been the hardest to crack. Olivia brings a lightness to the band. She's so caring and never has a bad thought about anyone. She's the ray of sunshine. Uma brings the sexy, badassness to the group. She's fearless and wild. The absolute perfect front woman. And Raquel brings an innocence to the group. She looks so pure, but the girl can deliver a guitar riff that could shake a stadium.
They're perfect.
I knew everything there was to know about them.
Fiona had a hard life growing up. She had a sick dad and a mom who didn't give her much thought. She lost her father when she was thirteen. Her dad and her had the purest of relationships. He was her best friend. He had taught her how to play piano and then later how to handle a keyboard when Uma started talking about starting a band. He was sure she would be a star. She lost everything the day that he died. Her mother checked out completely after that. All the other girls were there for her. They took turns having Fiona at their house. They supported her the whole time.
Olivia's life was less tragic. She was a child of the most amicable divorce in history and yet she still took blame for what happened. That blame turned into her needing to control everything and that control turned into a severe eating disorder. It wasn't supposed to happen. Just one person telling her she wasn't as thin as she used to be and she spiraled. It got so bad she almost died last year. If Uma hadn't found her passed out, who knows what would have happened. The girls supported her in recovery.
Uma's life seemed the best from the outside. A rich and successful mother, great looks. Even coming out was easy for her. When she realized she was bisexual she shouted it to the world and received nothing but love in return. She didn't ever want for anything. Only she did. She wanted her father. Uma's mother only ever told her that her father was Greek and she had given her his last name. The only other thing she had to say was that he was bad news. Still Uma wanted to find him. She felt like a piece of her was missing. That she could never truly know herself if she didn't know where she came from. That's why her relationships always went so horribly. She was looking for pieces of her father in all of these people. But she never found him.
Raquel had the strictest upbringing. She was from Vietnamese family that valued tradition and culture above everything else. From a young age she felt very different and when she was thirteen she figured out why. She fell in love with Uma. It's hard to tell what got her there. All the sleepovers and special looks and kisses that Uma loved giving out. Raquel tried her hardest to push down her feelings for girls, but finally gave in when she was seventeen and had her first girlfriend. It went terribly. Elaine was controlling and obsessive and wanted Raquel all to herself. Raquel couldn't handle it and ended things. She's now convinced a relationship with a woman could never work.
I knew everything about their manager too. J.T. Edwards. He was a special guy. He had dated all of the girls at some point. He dated Olivia first in middle school. It lasted two weeks and Olivia ended it for another guy. He then dated Raquel in freshman year of high school. She was really trying to convince herself she was straight, but she hated kissing him so she ended it after a month. Then in sophomore year he dated Fiona for six months. It was a fine relationship, but J.T. fell for someone else. Uma. They dated for a year. They lost their virginity to each other, but Uma ended it so he could be their manager and things wouldn't be weird.
The band always came first.
The girls had grown so much and yet they still had their issues.
Fiona was struggling financially and academically. I watched slowly as her grades slipped and she became more and more overwhelmed. Of course she thought she could handle it. She found a way to make money that she never wanted anyone else to know about. But I knew. She hated having to call him every time things went bad but she also loved having that fall back.
Olivia was slowly relapsing and no one was noticing. I did. I could see how she would go the bathroom after every meal and she started bringing salads to lunch. I want to tell someone, but I want to believe Olivia is strong enough to overcome this. Also the last time I interfered in their lives, things went badly. I had to let her figure this out on her own. Still maybe I would send her an email about therapy.
Uma's life was being turned upside down. She might have a sister. Well not might, she does. I'd already done my research and Zora is for sure her sister on her dad's side. I don't want Uma to learn more about her father and meet him. He's not a good man. He wouldn't appreciate how perfect she was. He wouldn't give her the security and closure she thought he could. Again, this is something I had to let Uma figure out on her own. I'm sure she would.
Raquel had it bad. She's forced herself into a seemingly heterosexual relationship. Her parents set her up with David and thought it was easy as that. What they didn't realize was that David Tran could never make her happy. It wasn't possible. She wanted a woman. Well one woman if you want to get technical. I wish there was a way to get those two together. They would bring out the best in one another and the band would thrive.
I now hear they're adding a fifth member to the band. I don't know how I felt about that. I had gotten so used to my four girls. I loved them more than anything. Did I have room for another person in my heart? I would have to see.
If not it might be time to meddle once again. I was trying to stop with that though. Although eventually things got better last time, they had to get worse first. I didn't want to put my girls through turmoil again. I loved them.
After all, I'm their biggest fan.
Fiona's POV"So how much is this going to cost?" I asked."About nine hundred." The mechanic answered.I groaned. "Just to put a mirror back?" I asked."Yeah, there's a lot that goes into that. Wiring and everything.""Alright one second." I pulled out my phone to text him.900 for the mirror. Can u send $$ plz thank youA few moments later I got a response. What's the secret phase baby?I sighed.I need you Daddy. Please help me.
Fiona's POVI have a horrible habit. When I get upset and I feel like my life is out of control, I go shopping. Of course this is an issue because I don't really have money. I mostly blame my mother for this habit. She taught me how to spend money I didn't have. It's all she did after my dad died. She bought all kinds of shit, but never groceries. Never things for me. Only things for herself. She acted as though she was the only one who lost my dad. Like I wasn't affected by it too.The only thing my mother ever actually gave me was bad habits and crippling insecurities about whether I was important or not. And yet I continued to have her in my life. We sat down for dinner once a month.Same time, same place, and ordered the same th
Fiona's POVThere are some advantages to being friends with Uma.I mostly get those advantages when we go out. When we turned eighteen, Uma gifted us with the best fake I.D.'s I'd ever seen in my life. I swear she got someone from the DMV to make them for her.Our favorite place is Roy G. Biv. It's supposed to be an LGBT club but straight people go all the time. It also does karaoke.Another advantage is people love buying Uma drinks.Uma is very generous so she shares her drinks with us. I go out and I don't have to spend a dime."What are you singing tonight, Uma?" Raquel asked."Cool
Fiona's POVLast night was actually fun. I met a guy named Tim and we really hit off. I brought him home with me. It had been awhile since I had sex but boy did he remind me how good it was.My eyes fluttered open. Tim was on his phone."You're still here."I smiled."Well I woke up to such a good view, I had to." He grinned, leaning down to kiss me. "Last night was amazing.""Yeah, it was. It's...been awhile.""I sure couldn't tell." He kissed me again, pulling me to him. "We should get breakfast or something. I wanna spend more time with you.""Really?" I asked.
Fiona's POVI couldn't keep ignoring him. He was getting angry. The only problem was, I was enjoying the time I was spending with Tim. Sure it had only been twenty-four hours of drinking and sex and talking, but it already felt like a lifetime. I really liked him and somehow he liked me too."I'm not crowding your space am I?" Tim asked as we watched a movie."No, actually I'd like it if you crowded my space some more." I grinned, scooting closer to him."It's just I've been at your place this whole weekend. You don't want me to leave?""Do you want to leave?" He shook his head. "Then stay.""However...I do really need other clothes." T
Fiona's POVI love that I finally have a boyfriend to bring to our "band meeting". Well I guess Tim technically isn't my boyfriend considering we haven't had that talk, but we're definitely dating."Are you sure it's okay I'm here?" Tim asked."Oh yeah. This is our unofficial band meeting. Boyfriends and girlfriends are allowed." I assured him."Boyfriends huh?""Well I mean-I'm not saying you and I are boyfriend and girlfriend or anything like that, but-""Fiona, it's okay. I think it's time we took that step." Tim smiled."Really?""Well I haven't been home in days. I'd say we got something a little s
Fiona's POV "Backstage is fuckin awesome." Tim whispered. "Isn't it?" I smiled. "Am I the first groupie you've brought back here?" "Of course not, you're the latest in a string of them." "And here I thought I was special." He kissed me. "Love the outfit. Very rock and roll." "Thanks." I giggled. "Let's go to the green room." I pulled him through everyone setting up. He looked around in wonder. When we entered the green room everyone greeted us distractedly. Uma was in the corner doing her vocal warm up, Olivia was doing sit ups while Riley held her feet, Raquel and David were a
Fiona's POVFirst Uma completely ruins my life and now her sister does too?Something must run in those genes. Their father might actually be Satan or something.I didn't mention Tim dating Zora the night of the gig. Enough shit was happening with Uma and Cassius getting into a screaming match that left Uma in tears. I had never seen her cry in regards to a boy.I almost felt bad for her.Almost."So...you and Uma's sister huh?" I said, hoping I sounded casual."Zora yeah." Tim nodded."Was it like serious?""Yeah. Um, she was kind of
