WILLOW

The memories of Lucas's betrayal replayed in my mind like a cruel filmstrip. The pain of his infidelity cut deep, piercing my heart with every recollection. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms, as anger and resentment surged through me.

"How could he do this to me?" I whispered to myself, my voice trembling with a mix of anguish and disbelief. "How could he betray our marriage and choose someone else over me? He has been cheating me for so long!"

Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision as I tried to make sense of it all. I had believed in our marriage, in the vows we had exchanged, and in the love we had shared. But now, all those promises felt like empty echoes, shattered by the reality of his unfaithfulness.
