10- The First Time

LANA'S POV

I woke up in a frenzy, dressed up, and went downstairs to look for Dax. I wanted him to confirm to me if what he wrote on the little note really happened when I ran into Xavier.

I couldn't understand why both of them had to be this hot and so... appealing. I realized right there and then that it was a terrible mistake for me to agree to move in with the two of them in the same house. I crossed my fingers that nothing happened between Dax and I last night because my memory was very blurry after having a couple of drinks at the club.

"Good morning, Mrs. Daxton Salvatore." He winked at me.

I froze on my spot and stared into his eyes. It took me a moment to realize that he greeted me. I didn't even mean to wonder off to the last memory that I had of him jerking himself...

"Hi there... Xavier."

"If you're looking for my brother, he's in the gym." He replied.

And all I could say was, "Oh."

"Unless you weren't looking for him..." He took a step closer to me.

Why didn't I move?
