Serana POV.

Watching the little sleeping face of my daughter, I feel a pain in my heart that one I forgot about her and two that I thought my son was a monster. This situation is a messed up one, but as I watch her sleep in the protection of my arms, I know I love her and my son in my belly. It has been a couple of weeks since I woke up not remembering anything.

But the moment her hybrid crashed into the room, I instantly knew who it was. The bond shared between a mother and her child is stronger than any other. I’m disgusted with myself to consider that any child with king Vilkas would be a monster that I even had those thoughts to begin with. If anyone is the monster, it is me.
