Chapter 10 You Must Go with Me Today

Taylor looked at her unhappily, “Kristen, what is your problem?”

“You’re the one with the problem. Well... I think you’re delusional. Go to the hospital as soon as possible for treatment.”

Kristen had never seen Taylor before coming to Nangania.

After that, she went straight out of the bathroom.

Behind her, Taylor felt a little guilty. What did Kristen mean? Did she know Miss Oliver?”

That was impossible! Although Kristen was born in Tornzia, she had investigated and found that she was raised in an ordinary family. She couldn’t know Miss Oliver!

“She is so arrogant. Taylor, are you okay with her working with you?”

A wicked glint flashed through Taylor’s eyes. No way. She wouldn’t give Kristen any chance to become popular.”

After the party, Kristen ignored that Ethan had asked her to go to the parking lot with him and return to the villa. She took a taxi back to the hotel.

After resting in the hotel for a day, the next day was the day to the TV show set.

However, first night at the hotel, Kristen had just returned to the hotel after dinner when the police came knocking on her door.

“I’m sorry, Miss Healey. Miss Davis’ ring was lost at the party yesterday. You’re the biggest suspect. We have to take you back to the station for investigation.”

Kristen stared perplexedly at the two police officers at the door.

What the hell did Taylor losing her ring have to do with her? How did she become the biggest suspect?

“I didn’t take her ring. Do you have any evidence? You can’t take me away.”

“Miss Healey, Miss Davis’ ring was lost in the bathroom. You were there at the time and the items were precious. You have to come with us.”

Kristen was handcuffed and she was taken out of the hotel in a police car.

Thousands of expletives flashed through her mind. She knew she was framed.

Kristen knew Taylor’s purpose. Tomorrow was the first shooting day of “The Grand World”, and Mr. Scott hated latecomers the most.

On such an important occasion, she was the second male lead. If she was absent, then...

How despicable and shameless she was!

Kristen was detained at the police station.

The police didn’t listen to her explanation, “Excuse me, Miss Healey. This matter still needs further investigation. I’m afraid you’ll have to stay here all night.”

Not just tonight. It was likely that she wouldn’t be able to leave until tomorrow afternoon.

When the door was closed, her heart was full of unwillingness.

If she missed this role and pisses Mr. Scott off, her future path would be even more difficult.

Looking at the dark room, her face was full of gloom.

“Taylor Davis, I will make you pay the price!”

After an unknown period, Kristen almost fell asleep on the table.

The door was suddenly opened and she woke up.

The police officer who had spoken to her just now said cautiously, “I’m sorry. Miss Healey, I’m the director of this branch. There’s been a misunderstanding here. It’s all my subordinates’ fault. I’m sorry. You’re innocent. You can leave now.”

The chief carefully untied the handcuffs for her. His attitude was such that he almost knelt in front of Kristen.

Kristen narrowed her eyes. What brought the director here?

She had a little doubt in her heart. Did her brothers know that she was in the police station, so they helped her?”
