Chapter 93. Liam's refusal

"No, father. I mean, there's no need for that," Liam responds to his father and stares away, while Mr. Taiye smiles.

"I see you like your secretary, my son. Do you prefer her to Mr. John's daughter as your wife?" Liam stiffens and looks back at his father in shock. He stammers, "No, dad. I mean, why are you asking me this question? Anita is just my secretary, and I don't have anything to do with her."

"Hmm..." Mr. Taiye hums and stands up. "And you expect me to believe that, Liam? It's alright. If you say you don't like Anita, then I will have her transferred to the Blues Company.
