It was almost 7 A.M. when I woke up. Asher is still peacefully sleeping beside me and I softly smiled at the sight of him.
I was getting my keys when I heard a soft knock from my door. I was greeted by Ellisa and she handed me a paper bag. There was a custard cake and a large cup of hot caramel macchiato.
“I’m pretty sure that you won’t get any breakfast on your way so I made sure to give you that. At least eat it on your way to work. You already look pale and tired.”
“I will. Thank you.”
