Chapter 5

Episode 5

"What are you keeping in your house Ray? A Dhampir!!" Abel yelled angrily, standing up in an instant.

Sarah laid there on the ground unconscious from just the slight slap she received from Abel.

Infuriated by what just happened to Sarah, Troy rushed towards Abel, but got stopped a few inches away by James, who pulled him back by the collar.

"You would not want to mess with him." James told Troy. The latter refused to listen, tearing of his shirt from his body, allowing the collar James held unto rendered useless in preventing from reaching Abel.

"You just don't come into the Ragon's family house, and treat a family member wrong!" Troy yelled, throwing a punch at Abel. The latter stood still, staring angrily at Ray, paying no attention to Troy's attack. Troy's fist landed on Abel's jaw, the next thing happening was Troy's fists cracking. His joints dislocated all the way to his wrist. His finger bones shattered on impact with Abel's skin..

"Fuck!" Troy moaned out in pain, withdrawing his broken palm. He held it with his other palm, as it dangled numb and lifeless. Troy didn't understand what just happened.

"I warned you!" James said, dragging Troy by the hair, away to a male servant.

"Take him away!" James instructed. Troy wanted to refuse, but once he saw James's eyes, he knew not to refuse. He shook his head and went away, but turned last minute.

"About Her?" He asked, gazing at Sarah's unconscious body lying on the ground.

"I will handle it. Now Go!"...

"I didn't expect you to be around." Ray defended himself. "The Dhampir is not meant for you."

"Fuck that. Do you want to eradicate my race?!" Abel yelled, this time louder. His rage kept building up. "Are there more of this? Ugh? Are you breeding them??"

"She is the only one. And yes I am eradicating your kind. Just because the two of us are on good terms, doesn't mean we are with the rest. Seems you have forgotten how things goes down in Greenville!!" Ray shouted this time. Frustrated for being viewed as the bad guy.

"It's either we are the top of the food chain, or the werewolves are. Or the vampires come get us. Or the hunters and witches who have joined forces do!"

"Things are no longer the same as before when we were United against the Hunters. We are at war against each other. And in war, everything is fair!" Ray ranted on, slamming his walking stick on the ground.

James appeared back, behind his master, Ray.

Abel calmed a bit, gazing scornfully at Sarah's body.

"I can't allow her to live. Find another way to defend your ass!" Abel said, and In a blink of an eye, he was right before Sarah's body. He pulled her up, his palms wrapped around her neck.

He launched his free hand into her chest, attempting to pull out her heart. But his hand got stopped a few inches towards her chest.

"Oh no you don't." James said, holding his hand, stopping it from plunging into her chest.

"Am I getting weaker or what?" Abel felt insulted that creatures younger than him, with lack of experience kept on getting in his way. "let go of me!"

"You think I am happy holding your pathetic hand." James smirked. "Don't forget you are below me In  the food chain. The devil created we demons before you graceless vampires. You were just an afterthought of his."

Abel hurled Sarah's body against James. The latter caught Sarah easily.

"I thought you were a good friend. I wanted to seek refuge here with my mate. You disgust me!" Abel said, and he was gone.

"How did he even enter without being given permission."

"He is among the few of the original vamps alive. He can bypass such rule!" Ray informed.

"Well there is the good side master!" James smiled, and Ray too smiled in return. "She is going to be a game changer in this war!"

Bella and the rest didn't quite grab what was going on.

"Bella, take her to her room!" Ray instructed. She nodded and collected Sarah from James.

"Tell the servants to clean up this mess!"...
