Chapter 3

Tyler's POV

I watched as the beautiful blonde woman slept like a tired kitten on the king size bed of my hotel room. She looked peaceful in her sleep. I had been with a lot of women, but I had never had one as hot and eager as her in my bed, nor one I wanted to take to bed again. I stifled a groan when memories of her mouth sucking me off flashed in my mind. I felt my cock twitch in response. No, no, no. We can't.

I remembered the first time I had seen her was at a conference meeting for business owners. She had been with her father and I had thought her to be gorgeous even though for some reason she was wearing a very unflattering dress that covered all her curves.

She had smiled at me and we had talked for a while mostly about business. I knew from our interaction that day that she was an intelligent woman and I had wanted to fuck her. I wanted to approach her but then, I didn’t like to mix work with pleasure. She was the daughter of the man I wanted to do business with and if something was to go wrong, then I would be risking my whole career.

I had half the mind to wake her up and take her one last time but I decided against it. I needed to do what was important, a goal that I have been working towards my entire life.

I placed half a million dollar check and the note I had written for her alongside the robe I had picked out for her on the couch before I left the room. I headed down to the conference room of my hotel where I was going to be meeting with her father.

"Mr Andrews." I shook the hands of the CEO of Exxon oil. His hair was a startling blonde just like his daughters’ and his blue eyes resembled the sky on a summer day. It was clear who she got her beauty from.

"I have to say I was surprised when you called for this meeting, Mr Blackwood." He said as we took a seat on the chairs.

“It was pressing. I couldn’t wait to get into this.” I gave him a tight lipped smile.

I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to buy Exxon Oil out, so I could expand my business in the state. I had already monopolized the oil market in twenty states and Exxon has been the only obstacle. I needed to buy them out while they were in a weak state or else I would be risking competition.

The man looked thinner than the last time I saw him. He was still good looking but it was evident to anyone who knew him before now that he had lost some weight. I felt like I was doing him a favor somehow, taking away the burden of having a dying business.

"So, would you like anything to drink?" I asked him.

"No, that won't be necessary.” He shook his head.

"Okay then." I nodded before I took out a file from my briefcase and placed it on the mahogany coffee table, then slid it to him.

"What is this?" He asked without looking down at it.

"That, Mr Andrews, is a document of all your illegal dealings and flaws in your oil production for the last ten years.” I deadpanned, maintaining eye contact.

His eyes widened in shock, "Excuse me?"

"Look, Mr Andrews, I'm going to make this fast, simple and clear. I want Exxon Oil. I've wanted it for a while now. Sell your company to me and this doesn't leak to the public."

His blue eyes glared at me with so much hatred that I was almost certain I'd turn into a block of ice. Did his daughter take after him in everything?

"How dare you…" He began to say, but I cut him off.

"Listen, Mr Andrews, I'm doing you a favor here. Investors are pulling out of Exxon oil faster than you can say the word profit and your company is on the verge of collapse because of it. I'm only trying to help you here. Plus I'm offering you a large amount of money for this company. No other person will offer this once this gets out. Not to mention your health."

He didn't look happy. The skepticism in his eyes was now a vivid irritation and it was directed at me. I got the feeling that he wasn't used to being challenged by anyone. But I wanted Exxon, and I was going to get it.

He was about to say something when I interrupted him again.

"You don't have to give me an answer today. You have forty eight hours to make your decision. I am after all a generous man." I said to him, leaning back into my chair.

"I'm not selling my company." He said flatly.

I chuckled at his stubbornness.

"Oh but you will, or you'll watch your company fall. Exxon Oil is barely afloat now. If this leaks," I tapped on the document in front of him. "You will be completely done for. Think about your children, how distraught they'd feel."

“Go to hell, Blackwood.”

I wasn’t going to sit back and hear his doubt speak for him. So I stood up to my feet and adjusted my suit.

"I look forward to getting your call Mr Andrews " I said, preparing to leave.

"You won't." He gritted out.

The man was just as stubborn as his daughter but I wasn't fazed by his words. He was in denial, and it was normal for people to feel that when they were about to lose something precious to them. But it is going to be for the better, and he will understand that soon.

I left my hotel and as I walked down to the parking lot preparing to get into my car, my phone beeped, indicating that I had just gotten a message. I removed my phone from my pocket and checked. It was a text message from Mr Andrews.

‘I accept your offer’ The message read.

That was faster than I anticipated. I was going to give him till 8pm tonight but I guess I miscalculated how desperate he was. I grinned at finally securing the one obstacle that had been in my way for so long. Now with my completion and his daughter out of my way, no one would be able to stop me from achieving my dreams.
