Lyra frowns as she walked back to sit again

"Bryan came here?" Ella nodded

"Yes, he did. He did say I shouldn't let you know. When was that? Five days ago. He even visited before you or Bruce did"

"He did?" Lyra found herself asking again.

"But Bryan told me he didn't know you were jailed"

"Bryan told you a lot of lies Lyra. I don't know how you allow one man to fool you twice"

Lyra didn't know where Ella was driving but she found her eyes watered. She tried not to cry out loud though

"It's not time to cry just yet, Lyra. I have a lot to tell you that Bryan hasn't or should I say wouldn't tell you"

"Firstly, you would have to ask yourself what does Bryan want from me? Does he love me like he claims he did?"

Ella looked up at Lyra whose hands had formed into a fist.

"Well, no" she replied to her question

"Bryan doesn't love you, sist. He is using you just as I had used Bruce. He has a reason too just like I had a reason to use Bruce. Would you like to know?"
