James' POV

A sharp ringing on the doorbell caused me to jump out of bed as I hurried to the door.

“Who the fuck is that?” I didn't know when these words escaped from my mouth as I was a little bit pissed.

I opened the door and was stunned by the sight that welcomed me.

He pushed me aside and ushered himself into the living room as I followed him.

“Father?” I gasped in shock.

“How… how did you know my location and when did you come here?” I fired at him anxiously, staring at him as he slowly sat on the armchair.

“Do you think I never meant what I said?” He asked, raising a slight brow.

“I don't understand you.” I paused. “Are you spying on me?” I asked.

“Of course not. It's just that I have my eyes and ears in every corner of London and I know when to strike.” He said coldly.

“So, why are you here?” I exhaled deeply, waiting for his response.
