Sana's POV continued
He stops caressing my belly as I say this to him. I smile sarcastically again and open my eyes to look at him. He is too stunned to say anything.
"Sana...you," he mumbles. I expected this reaction from him. However, I don't want things to get awkward between us when we have just lived a beautiful moment.
"Relax," I laugh at him as I try to overcome the awkwardness. "I was kidding"
"You always scare me," he sighs as he takes me into a deep embrace.
Why? Why does it scare him? Why does loving me haunt him? I turn off my inner soul again so that I don't do any stupidity again. I don't want him to be more disturbed. Finally, we got some relief. I don't wanna snatch them.
"It's time to celebrate, no?" I say as I look up. I discover him staring at me.
"Yeah," he agrees.
"Tequila or Vodka?" I ask.
"You know my preference," he smirks.
"Me or Vodka?" I chuckle as I get
She becomes nervous as her first impression in this office wasn't desirable at all."I.. thought you were gonna..," she stammers while speaking. I hardly get to see a girl like her who gets anxious while talking to me.Her eyelids look fluffy like waves of the ocean; I manage to see the sight as she lowers her eyes. I keep gazing at her. I don't like people being over-excited about their upcoming goals. It doesn't look professional at all. One should have the attitude and spark into his/her eyes which were missing in her eyes."Sir," Tina interrupts. "I told her to come. Plz, give her one chance. She has the potential""She? You mean her?" I mock her words. "She can only mumble and stammer like a dumb," I shrug as I ignore eye contact with her. I mean what I said. The way she talked, stammered and looked, shows how much less confident she is! Guys may like a girl like her when it comes to relationships but not in work, I guess. I just guessed.
Sid's POVI stand straight as she tries to move. "You can go to your place," I order her. She leaves the chair in a haste and walks away. I re-read the mail, I must say she is good at communicating but what the fuck was she doing? Stammering, mumbling. Do I look that scary? However, I don't care what she thinks about me."You think that's gonna work?" I asked her. "You've barely written four lines""I'm not here to impress anyone. I'm here to convince you. There's a big difference between impressing and convincing," she finally completes her statement without stammering. I wanted her to do so. Because somewhere I don't need a dumb girl in the company who can't utter a line properly. How will she be managing the work I'll assign her. I realise she is not dumb, she is too naive to handle."Impressive!!," I exclaim. "I said I'm not here to impress," she spits.I raise my eyebrows as she keeps surprising me with her savage
I can't believe my eyes, what the hell am I seeing? I feel a minor ache in my heart; he doesn't look at me and continues talking about the latest appointment that we'll have to attend."I need to have a chat with our primary client. Thankfully, we got another chance to convince them as they accepted the mail which Bella delivered," he says, his eyes are glued to the computer screens but my eyes are on him."Who's Bella?" I ask, a pinch of doubt mixed in my voice. He looks at me as he feels discomfort in my voice."The new girl," he says, raising his eyebrows."I see. So she just sent the mail?" I ask, annoyed. I'm pissed off right now, I can never imagine Sid being close to anyone else. He had never. Why the heck does that girl comes so close to him?"Yes," he rolls his eyes, he hasn't realised that I noticed the lipstick stain; or maybe he doesn't even know about the stain on his shirt."What else was happening here?" I shrug, being unable to c
Bella's POVI keep staring at her being surprised. Meanwhile, she turns around as our gazes meet. Puffing her cigarette, she narrows her eyebrows, I think she hasn't liked the way I stare at her. But doesn't it look weird to see a girl smoking? A girl who has a boyfriend. Doesn't he stop her from doing so? I've read that people in a relationship try to change their partner's bad habits and make them good people. So I guess Sid doesn't know anything about it."You wanna say something?" Sana says as she releases a bunch of smoke. She looks pathetic enough, but I shouldn't judge her by her looks or habits, maybe she is good by heart."No, I was just..
I predicted right, she is gonna use her emotional weapon on me. However, it hasn't affected me from the day she started treating me like an outsider. I still keep coming to her because just like every child I too can't hate my mother."It happened all of a sudden. I couldn't tell anyone," I explain."Sudden? You mean you didn't think about the consequences at all before getting married to this girl," she says pointing out Sana."Mom. Please! Don't make an issue of it""I'm making
It's almost evening when we reach the Monarch's. I'm feeling very annoyed sitting among them, passing only files and papers. The meeting is taking a huge time, it's stretching with every passing minute. Monarch isn't ready to invest more in our project because Sid has lost all faith in him. Sid has wasted 2 hours explaining to him the benefits of their collaboration but I don't think it's gonna work. Once you lose faith, you can't bring it back. "Pass me the documents in the blue file," Sid says in a low tone while I am standing behind him. I couldn't hear him as I was lost in my thoughts. "Miss Watson," he shouts as I come out of my thoughts being nervous. My heartbeat raises high, I mumble as I look at him. "Ye..yes, Sir," I stammer and
Sid's Pov continuedI can completely understand the surprise in her voice. She knows I don't like music and songs and I'm the reason she stopped listening to music on the speaker. "It's Bella. She had turned it on," I say, waiting for her reaction. Though there's nothing wrong with it, I'm a little anxious about Sana's reaction to me being with Bella. "Bella! What's she doing in your car?" she asks, desperate. "I'm gonna drop her off at her place. It's late so....," I explain to her. "She would've gone by her own, Sid. You're not her driver," she says rudely. I wonder how this g
Sana's POVI'm laying next to Sid, thinking about everything that's happening around. We are invited to his dad's place tomorrow. On the other hand, his mom isn't pleased with us at all, sorry!! Only with me. My dad has been calling me the whole day. I don't know what he has to say. I don't wanna ruin my peace of mind by talking to him. My phone buzzes as I come out of my thoughts, it's him. I'm feeling bad for ignoring dad's call the whole day, I shouldn't. I can forget everything they did to me but not the fact that they gave birth to me. I take my phone and make my way outside the room. Sid is sleeping peacefully after a long time, and I don't wanna wake him up if I end up arguing with dad again. "Dad," I say in a heavy voice. "Sana, my girl, where were you? I had been c
