Chapter 6. Monitoring Her Movement

Charles stood up from his bed, after placing Nancy's photo on the headboard, and went into his bathroom to bathe. Afterward, he stepped out, put on his night robe, and walked to his study room to keep himself busy.

Sleep was far from his eyes. He knew he would be marrying soon, but he still needed to check his company records as he was running a multimillion-dollar company in their state.
