I promised myself that I was not going to let the outburst with Heather destroy my mood but I could not keep the slight guilt from choking me that I was indeed at fault for causing a rift between Lola and Heather, even though one way or another the truth of Heather’s betrayal would have come to light. As much as I felt guilty I was surprised at Heather’s reaction to the whole thing, she made it look like it was entirely my fault. And even her apology to Lola was more like she was trying to prove that Tyler would have cheated on her with anybody like it didn’t matter she was the one caught with him. There was just something cold-blooded in her reaction to everything and I was actually kind of worried for her because it was a sign that she was in denial of her fault in the whole thing.
