Chapter forty Six

Draven was agitated as he paced the meeting room taking long and powerful strides as he did so. His hands were clasped behind his back and his brows were furrowed in serious brooding. He paced about quietly for a while totally immersed in his thoughts and then he stopped abruptly and turned to his only companion.

"Are you sure of what you say?" Draven asked gravely.

"Yes, Alpha." His companion replied, his face masked as he sat in the darkest corner of the room.

Draven seemed to continue his pacing but for a while. He stopped abruptly and turned again. "You did well. But this is not the time for us to go public. This is not the time for us to act. I hope you understand that?"

"Yes Alpha, I do." The man in the shadows replied, his voice calm and steady giving no emotions the man might have been feeling.

"Good." Draven nodded. "You're dismissed. You must return immediately, otherwise, you'll be missed." Draven ordered and his companion rose quietly from the shadows.
