Chapter 13 They're demons

One man shattered the car's rear glass while Caiden was still deciding what to do. Caiden got ready to step out of the car as he opened the door and felt rage fill his body.

"There are over fifteen men out there Caiden. What do you think you're doing?" I said, tears welling up in my eyes.

"How dare they touch my car?" His eyes gleamed as he emerged, indicating that his wolf was present "I don't want you to get hurt Kamara. Stay in the car.

Despite my knowledge of Caiden's power and fighting skills, I thought it was ridiculous that he intended to face these men by himself; the plan looked too dangerous. I felt bad that I couldn't assist him. Since my wolf had left me, I was helpless to defend myself. I was almost human.
