A little bit of pressure

Kristen’s POV

I did the only thing a sane person would do and that was pack my bags while I left him behind the counter like I didn’t know him. I took my bag and off I went.

“Have a nice weekends guys!” I bided the rest of the employees goodbye and off I went. When I mean went, I literally ran like a mad woman being chased.

Outside the restaurant was a lonely road and I had to get to a certain place before I could board a cab

I was scared because I knew Lucian wasn’t a man to just stop, give up and go back to his house. He would rather chase me this night until he squeezed the truth out of me.

That was what I was desperately trying to avoid. If he caught up to me, I was done for.

Anyways, I really overestimate my legs. I ran like a crazy person, but realized all my efforts were furtile when a car honked beside me. The window went down and I gasped when I realized it was Lucian.

“No Lucian, No!” I screamed at him as though I was insane. My nervousness made me scream like that.
