BETRAYAL

Luna fought her shackles, but they were too tight. She tried to scream, but her cries were muffled by the gag. She turned around to find herself in a darkly lighted room surrounded by ghostly people. She became terrified as she realized she was powerless.

One of the creatures advanced, a wicked smirk on his face. "All right, all right. "What have we got here?" he hissed.

Luna's heart fell as she recognized him as one of the enemy's leaders. How had they been discovered? Was the witch a traitor?

"You're in for a world of pain, little wolf," the leader said, his eyes gleaming with hatred. "But first, we have a few questions for you."

Luna attempted to resist, to keep her thoughts from him, but she knew it was pointless. The enemy's ranks were filled with formidable telepaths who would stop at nothing to obtain information from her.

Luna felt a flash of terror and despair as the leader neared her. She needed to figure out a means to escape and tell her pack.
