26. Saving Annabelle
"Let's go, everyone. Alaia has dropped her at Bayswater Beach." Roman slipped his cellphone into the back pocket of his jeans as he swiftly rose from the sofa, motioning Arch, Trav, Jughead, and Romeo to follow him out the packhouse's front door.
Without breaking his stride, he turned his head to look at Arch who was on his left. "Did you call Dr. Philips? Alaia says she's in pretty bad shape and I want to make sure we have a medical doctor on hand to administer aid."
"He's already on the way to the beach in the ambulance. We'll meet him there." Arch answered curtly as they entered the black SUV parked in front of the packhouse.
Barely fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the beach, courtesy of Arch's breakneck speed. He must have broken almost every driving regulation for them to reach the beach that quickly.
