Probably An Accident

As the sun began to rise over the Moonglow pack's territory, the omegas were already bustling about in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for the rest of the pack. I was now one of them and trying to get everything ready that Luna Avery had instructed me to do for her breakfast. The matron, Eden, was watching us with a scowl on her face. Sometimes, I felt her staring at me more often than others.

We knew that we had to work quickly if we wanted to avoid the wrath of Eden, who was known for her short temper and sharp tongue, and I had seen a glimpse of it on my first day here in this kitchen.

I sneakily took a glance at her and found her standing in the doorway, her arms crossed over her chest and a scary murderous expression on her face. She looked over the omegas with a critical eye, searching for any sign of laziness or incompetence.

"What's taking so long?" She barked. "I don't have all day to wait for you worthless omegas to make breakfast. Get a move on!"
