Axel and I spent most of the day in that room, I assumed it would get boring after the initial hours. Axel continues to lead me through the corridors of the palace, many people smiling and bowing towards us as we went. I would have questioned this if my mind wasn’t too preoccupied with another issue, not to trip and fall in these heels! As like I said before, I have never owned or even walked for that matter in heels before. When I was out shopping with Hannah, she picked out the dress that I’m wearing and told me it would look amazing with these heels. Now I never disagreed with her because she was right and I dumbly assumed, I would have time to practice walking in them before pulling them out to wear. I lay awake in bed for an hour, the information I had just learnt from Elliot not allowing me to sleep. How do I approach this with Axel? He must suspect that something happened to his father, he wouldn’t have just fell over and died a mile away from this place. But with the way in which he reacted when I even brought his father into the conversation, tells me he hasn’t quite dealt with the loss of him. Until I know more about the situation and hopefully, find Axel but also Hannah, the answers they have been asking for years, I should keep this to myself. I was soon sitting at the huge table in the library, drowning in all of the many books we had found. I must have read about twenty different books, all of them full with facts of many different mystic tales which most deem myths. But I still hadn’t found any that match what I’m experiencing, there was one kind which had the ability to see into the future but not past, or be able to talk to people who are supposed to be dead!
