After the hug Axel and I shared, he began to show me the other beautiful areas in the garden. I would have been amazed by what I saw when we first walked in alone, but the sheer beauty of the rest of the garden simply took my breath away. There was a huge rose garden with every colour of rose that you could think of! Axel explained how roses were his mother’s favourite flower, so he thought it would be a wonderful idea to have this part of the garden created to honour her. There is also a river that runs through the garden, where as you walk along you can hear all the amazing sounds of nature. He told me we had just scratched the surface on every part of the garden, there were still so many more parts for me to see which I couldn’t wait. We were just stood under an old looking apple tree, you could see not many apples grew anymore and the ones that did, didn’t look really edible. This seems to be the only part of the garden which isn’t prim and proper, I would have thought it would
Axel held my hand as Hannah and I were both led back indoors, I mean I was upset that the lovely morning outside was ruined by whoever that unusual guy was! But I knew I would feel so much more terrified if we remained outside. What I had witnessed myself scared me, but to see the way in which everybody around me was acting, didn’t make me feel any better. They must have had some experience with this man I learnt was Johnathan, due to the way in which he and Hannah were interacting back there. The way he was acting also stood out to me, it was as though he was taunting us and knew exactly, what he needed to say to make Hannah start to fear what he could do next. This could mean that him showing up was planned, he didn’t just decide out of the blue that he was going to break into this place and see us. It is like he knew Axel and Joey, would be preoccupied with whatever the emergency was to rush straight over to us. As I don’t speak, I spend most of my time observing others and I’ve
I walk around the library just taking all the little details in, I have always dreamt of having my own library where there were endless books which I could spend my days reading. The books in here seemed to vary in age, size and topic, there was something for everyone in here. As I walk down the aisle of the library, my hand was running over the shelve. I had found three books which I wanted to take back to the room to read, but I wanted to see if there was any other titles which were standing out to me to read. Once I had reached the end of the aisle I was in, I hear one of the main doors open. “The library is off limits at the moment, you must come back later.” One of the men who are my guards tell someone, this interaction does get my attention as I slowly inch over to the side of the bookshelf. This is when I see a young man standing by the door, he looked panicked but also sweaty as Jordon blocked his entry to the main section of the library. The guy looks around frantically,
“You won’t get away with this!” An angry voice shouts which causes me to jolt awake, I sit up terrified wondering if the man shouting was in my bedroom. But my panicked scan of my bedroom clarifies that I was the only person, but I’m sure I heard a man shouting I mean, that’s what woke me up. I take the covers from my body and swing my legs to dangle off the side of the bed, the time on the clock read 2:21am. Why would a man be shouting bloody murder at this time in the morning? “I know what you did, you think you’ve been able to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes but not mine! I’ve been watching you for weeks now!” The same voice shouts from the darkness, I turn my head frantically to find the owner of the voice, but still I couldn’t see anyone. The sound of the wind blowing outside starts to rage louder, my balcony door flying open causing a freezing chill to ripple through the room and in turn, my body. My arms wrap around myself to try and preserve heat, the sheer curtains that
I stood with my hands on the edge of the balcony frozen in place, my brain was attempting to comprehend what had happened, but it was failing miserably. Hannah starts to panic beside me walking around the balcony, she begins to speak but her voice was muffled. What could all of this mean? Why did I have a dream about this very thing occurring last night? Yes, a few of the details aren’t the exact match to what I dreamt. But all of the tiny details that make up the dream, are exactly the same! The time that was showing on the clock in my dream, was the extract time that it happened in real life! “Evermore.” Someone calling my name breaks through the haze I was in for a second, I turn around to see Joey stood there looking over at me worried. “Come on, you shouldn’t be standing out there.” He says reaching forward and moving me away from the balcony, Hannah was just in front of us in floods of tears as he also held her arm. He leads us both through the doors of the balcony, before cl
I remain under the tree for what feels like hours, the cold night air causing an intense shiver to run through my body. I knew deep down how badly I wanted to go indoors where it was warm, but my head kept repeating how much of a bad idea that really was. Why didn’t Axel tell me he was a werewolf? Yes, I would have been absolutely terrified as like I am now, but I would have known not to get too close to Axel. It has only been just under a week since I have been here, but even now the intense pull feeling which I have towards him is only growing stronger. I don’t know if that is because he was the first person that I met when I left the attic, let’s be honest he was the person that saved me from the attic. Or the fact that he has shown me such kindness, I just cannot shake the feeling I have towards him. Even now I know what he is, or what he may be, the feelings just won’t fade away. I place my head against the tree with my eyes closed, sitting here right now I didn’t have a clue o
Axel was leading me back into the castle after our talk, his jacket still draped around my shoulders as we entered. I knew I still had so much more to learn of the life I’ll be living, perhaps I could head to the library tomorrow morning and see if I can find any books that will help. I could use the excuse that I’m taking the books I have already read back, but I know Axel won’t mind me doing my own research. We enter the main lobby section, where we were intercepted by around five men all wearing rather fancy clothes. “Sir, we have been attempting to reach you through mind-link for the past hour, you cannot keep avoiding this situation.” One of the men say, the way in which he spoke told me he was rather annoyed at Axel for whatever reason. “And I have told you many times that the situation is going to have to wait, now if you excuse me my mate is cold and is only growing colder while you stand there in our way.” Axel replies giving the men the cold shoulder, I mean yes I was col
I wake up bright and early the next morning, not that I had a good sleep at all. Every maybe hour I would wake up just in case one of those dreams were coming, I really have to get a handle on that if I ever want to sleep again. I decided around 5am that there wasn’t any point me trying to fall back to sleep, so I get ready for the day and read the rest of the final book I had. I had just finished it when the door knocks and in walks Hannah, two plates of food in her hands as she went. I smile placing my book on the bed issue table before sitting crossed legged on the bed. “Good morning Evermore, Joey and Axel are in meetings all day so I thought we could spend the day together, after what happened yesterday I think we both shouldn’t be alone.” She says with a faint smile before handing me my plate of food, I send her a smile as a thank you before she takes a seat beside me. We sit in silence for a few moments, I think we were both still shocked due to what happened with that man.
