On Coming of Age Day, Harper put on her makeup and dressed, and left home early in the morning. Even though the official start time of the party was in the evening, because Kelly had forbidden her to ride in the car with her, Harper decided to just leave early to avoid Kelly getting her in trouble again.

When Harper got to the street, she found the pack decorated with many beautiful flowers and sparkling lights, and the air was filled with the sweet smell of cake and chocolate. The street was crowded with people, and there was the vibrancy and youthfulness of the youth everywhere.

Harper was in a rare good mood as she walked among them. Although it was a long walk, it was worth it to feel such a good atmosphere.

Just then, a group of teenagers with balloons tied to the backs of their bicycles rushed over and took over the entire street. They went on a rampage, and Harper had to prepare to take temporary shelter in an alley at the side of the road.
