There is something wrong with me, I know it, and it's not only fever, Asher had done his best to cover whatever the issue was. I knew that the Doctor had examined me, and whatever he told Asher must have been important to have him acting like a shadow around me all the time. JHe basically stayed with me all day, sometimes he even brought his paperwork to my room to sort out. The only time he wasn't around me was when he had to attend court, but even those times he would put nearly a dozen guards outside my room and several maids to keep me company. It was like he was afraid I would run away or something.

It's not like I had anywhere to run to. There is no pack in the entire kingdom that would take me in. They all knew I was Asher's little infatuation, and only those in the palace knew how cruel Asher was once you touched his stuff.
