The rogues were super fast and if I were to give in to their super speed capability, I will be probably dead by now.

But if they think they are going to get a free meal without first working for it then, they are in for a shocker.

The rogues were gaining fast on me which made me start pushing my arms back and forth, jumping over fallen trees, dodging insects, and pumping my legs as fast as they could go.

I guess the saying it's true that no matter how much you think you have failed, when faced with death, then the will to survive becomes even stronger.
