Chapter 9: Stay with me

Gideon drove his car to the bar, while Freya just followed him away. She couldn't catch up with Gideon anymore because it looked like his destination was important, every time he finished work, Gideon was always eager to leave the Resort. Even though it was painful for her, she couldn't confess her true feelings to Gideon for fear of him rejecting how she felt. As a result, she chose to remain silent and obey whatever he said.

She took out her phone and dialed the number of a man she always called when she needed to talk or comfort.

"Hello, Darwin. See me tonight in the hotel.” Freya said over the phone. After a brief conversation, Freya hung up the phone and walked out of the Resort.
