Chapter 6

Gwen's POV

"Are you okay?". Grandma Mary asked me as I wash the last piece of the dish from yesterday.

I nodded, forcing a smile. I still couldn't believe it's been some weeks already since I left Washington to come stay with my grandma here in Oklahoma.

I had taken the bold step of moving on as grandma had been advising me to but I still think of it every once in a while.

The news of Andrew and his ex-girlfriend coming back together had disturbed me that morning and had me thinking about the issue again. I had been hoping he'd had a change of mind, hoping he'd tell me he realized I was innocent but then that only seemed like it could only happen in my dream.

All that happened still feel kind of hazy to me, and I don't know maybe I could forget it in a long time to come.

The recurring headache I have been feeling for days now seems to have come again even after all the assurances from my grandma it was probably the stress from all that had happened and it will eventually go, I still
