Chapter 14

As soon as the doorknob clicked and they got in, Gabrielle allowed herself to slide on the floor due to her horrible hangover, anger and too much exhaustion... but Vincent was quick to catch her fall and carries her to the sofa bed in the living room.

"Stay here..." he whispers as he was bringing her down, their faces just an inch away.

Her intoxicating smell of tequila and expensive perfume together with the natural sweet smell of her skin are all pushing him to stare at her face and lean down to lock her lips with his. But he didn't do that. He knows that the last thing she needs right now is them ending up fighting again after kissing.

Like what they always do...

"Don't go anywhere." he says combing the locks of her naturally brunette curly hair to the back of her ear.

"Just stay... here," he says pushing her a little to lean on the sofa, his one arm still wrapped around her neck.

"With me." he tells her again not leaving her face with his deep penetrating blue orbs as he lets go
