Chapter 47

Aria’s POV

Like a thief in the night, morning came swiftly.

It was just four in the morning yet I decided to get out of bed. I was tossing and turning all night thanks to the unfamiliarity of my new room. Obviously, I didn’t sleep a wink. Good thing I was able to catnap in the afternoon so I am not that sleepy. If not, I might end up with a dose of migraine for lack of sleep.

I motioned myself and quietly got off the bed. For the last two years of my life, I used to sleep on a small bed. But now, I have this big bed that I occupied alone. I kind of miss my daughter. My sleep would have been better if only she was here.
