Perfect Timing

As soon as Laura's hands went around his back, Jason stiffened; he had not, in his wildest imagination, thought that Laura would hug him of her own free will.

"Everything is going to be alright," Laura murmured.

After a few seconds, he wrapped his hands around her and drew her closer. He buried his nose in her hair. She smelled so good, it seemed to calm him more.

She stayed there for about three minutes before pulling away. Reluctantly, Jason stepped back too as she looked up at him with an encouraging smile and said, "Have a good night, Jason. I guess our meeting for tomorrow would have to wait."

"Why do you say that?" Jason asked.

"I don't know; I just feel you have a great deal to handle tomorrow," Laura replied.

"Humm, should I ask if you're psychic?" Jason asked, confused.

Laura smiled. "No, I'm not; let's just see each other after work tomorrow," she replied.

"Okay, thank you, Laura," Jason said.

He didn't know hugging someone could mean so much. He had not known he needed it,
