24. Full Moon Part I

I’ve come to learn what things are in this new world. The carriages people use here are called cars, and there’s a tiny communications device called a cell phone if you want to get in contact with someone not of your pack.

The castle Malachi had prepared for us here wasn’t too big, actually. It had one main bedroom with an enormous bed and three smaller bedrooms, a living room, dining room and several little offices, including a library.

Outside there is a pool and hot tub in the back leading out to a beautiful meadow. I wasn’t too phased with gardens, because I prefer the untamed nature of things.

It’s obvious that we don’t plan to entertain here, that’s what the other castle is for and honestly it makes me happy.

Things are easier here, everything seems to have a purpose and I am slowly learning that I have a purpose as well. Even if it’s just to be the mate and Luna to the Alphas, or to bear their children.
