Adrian’s POVI was Apathetic growing up. There seemed to be a few things that could grab my interest, even fewer that could keep it.I was more disinterested in people. My mother often told me to make friends. Lots of them. That I’d be able to talk to them and share my thoughts, feel belonged. I didn’t believe it. I didn’t believe that I needed so many people to feel among. Humans were very fickle. Everyone who ever approached me secretly wanted something from me. It disgusted me. I did meet someone who satisfied me. Just enough but that relationship collapsed shortly after.I believe that, at some point, I was a bit lonely. Alexandra’s POV Adrian and I spent our first day as a married couple at the hotel suite. We lounged around in silence. A comfortable one.
