Chapter Thirty-one

Diana's pov

I heard muffled voices over and over again, I couldn't hear what they were saying clearly, they continued to shake me. I cracked my eyelids open and everywhere was blurred, there was a human figure over me as he continued to shake me awake.

“Diana, Diana, can you hear me? wake up." This was the first time I had seen my brother since I had gotten back, he looked not much different from the stoic person I had known him to be.

His eyebrows knitted together in confusion, “Are you okay, what are you doing in the middle of the woods?” He questioned worriedly.

I would've been lying if I said he always cared about me, he always watched from the sidelines, not really contributing to my pain but not elevating it either.
