PART 8

The sunlight pierced through the eyelids of a woman who had been sound asleep since yesterday afternoon. Carista was extremely tired and needed a lot of rest after staying in Aberfey for a week.

"Today, I have to go look for a job again," Carista muttered as she grabbed a glass of water from the table.

"Is Taylor awake?" The girl went to the bathroom to wash her face, then opened the bedroom door, immediately catching the scent of cooking.

Carista walked towards the kitchen, not far from the room, and found Taylor preparing breakfast and fruit juice.

"Good morning, Beautiful," Taylor greeted.

Carista smiled faintly and then sat at the dining table. "Are you making breakfast again? Ah, I'm deeply touched."

"You are my responsibility, Carista." Taylor placed a plate of egg and bacon sandwiches, along with orange juice, near the woman.

"Eat, I deliberately made a lot for you."

Carista happily grabbed the orange juice and took a sip. Afterward, she bit into the egg and bacon sandwich. "Hm
