“She's not fit to be the next Luna!” My mom argued.

“And who are you to decide that?!” I asked, not willing to give in to her somewhat reasonable argument.

“As your Luna, she's meant to assist you as she will be the mother of the pack. But a mother that won’t even be able to defend her pups? She's useless, okay?!” My mom yet again pointed out the obvious.

“I'd train her to be useful.” I said stubbornly

“Till when Aiden? Till when?!” She asked, exasperated. “You don't need a liability. With her around, you're not stronger. You're weaker. The pack will know you as the alpha with a weak Luna can't you see?”
