Chapter Fifteen

I snatched my hand and stormed off outside the palace grounds. I couldn't believe that asshole; he thinks that everything is about him. I decided to walk down a rocky road I saw because only one person was walking down there, and I desired some peace.

As I walked down, I spotted a river. I quickly took off my shoes and walked a little bit into it. I guess the moon goddess knew how I felt and directed me here. I was basking in the evening sun and breathing the fresh air from the stream when I heard someone coming closer. I turned to the person, and it turned out to be a handsome blonde. I averted my eyes, minding my business, and also praying that he wouldn't start trying to make a conversation, but alas, he did.

"Hey, beautiful." He came closer, then inhaled my scent. "You smell like a wolf, not a Lycan."

I still didn't answer. He came closer and then looked at my face.
