“Huh?” I asked, my head shooting up to look at Duke. I had been sat on the edge of the bed all afternoon, waiting for him to come looking for me. We needed to talk.

“Right. Duke—” I tried, my eyes following him around the room as he absentmindedly undressed, walking from one end to the other.
