She sunk her teeth into his shoulder, making him yelp in pain. He thrashed as she dug deeper into his shoulder. The sword was to his right. Abednego tried reaching for it while his other hand pulled her hair, trying to rend her off of him. He was able to slip his middle finger around the trigger sword and bash her across the head with the sword.
It shocked her enough that he was able to throw her off. He lifted the sword up, with mighty power he swung it up on her head, but it missed her, sailing out of the open door of the house into the darkness. She threw herself at Abednego's legs, still screaming, and brought him to the ground. He hit her across the shoulders and upper back with the sword and kicked her off again. She was too fast for him. If he was going to have a chance at life, he had to make a decision. He looked out the door of the house and saw pool of water from the rain in the distance. He lunged out o

CHAPTER 10 Abednego can’t fight her. He has to gain courage to run away, this is not the place Matendechere told him, perhaps he is lost. The sun is overtaken by black clouds Abednego a hideous, killing cold sets in. He lay in the middle of the house, steady studying the woman, his limbs severed. He can only scream. She slopes around the him, like someone fastening bones together, always making sure her eye and Abednego's eyes meet. Her mouth pulls back in a wide smile, laughing. Life will always be a cage. You just have to make sure it’s one you’ve built yourself. She appeared to be saying, "I broke out of my cage, and I don’t have the means to build a new one. So the bones are right here with me and I have to build. Yes, the bones are right here with me." Abednego racket his brain and sow the only way is to storm out of the house and run for his dear life. He figured the way out. As M
CHAPTER 11The moment you are in there's intense feelings of anxiety and the feeling of being constantly watched, no locals from any village, including Namamali have ever dared to enter. People have stayed away because they fear and they know very well that if they enter, they will never find their way out.The forest has a mass grave containing thousands upon thousands of dead rotting bodies, ultimately, massacred by demons.Evil forest is impenetrable, the only forest with total darkness. The forest is actually haunted by werewolves, witches, and the devil himself. So for Nina to go inside, it was like signing her own death certificate. By the time she was deeper in the forest, she encountered a tall, horribly disfigured man with bulging eyes and many arms. It is believed that he compelled children to enter the forest, confess their sins, and never emerge again. She was now in a dangerous ar
CHAPTER 12The mind of getting Abednego has possessed her and she was ready to pay the price. Their aim was to get that magic powers, the powers that can can transform them into invisible being, get into the king's court and kill him. Yes, that's all they wanted, that's all they were after. She traced down Matendechere's house which was obscured by the blazing moonlight. She was so tired, being determined and never giving back she knew that finally the reign of their cruel king Imboko will finally be brought down. The thoughts of her only son, Kipili pushed her into determination. She wasn't scared of any evil spirit in that forest of Igodo, she wasn't scared anymore. She was willing to go far far until the land has been brought to peace, just like her husband Abednego. She has heard stories of Matendechere helping people, she has heard about it from one of his aged uncle. She is the only sorcerer who understand
CHAPTER 13My name? My name doesn’t matter. I’m just a simple old woman who enjoys giving forest adventures such as yourself some comfort. But if you insist, you may call me Matendechere. And while you rest, I know, you don't have to tell me your name, let me warm you, outside there is a risk, something is watching over you.The matter is nothing but a truth. The oldest, saddest, sweetest truth ever heard on this earth. It works into your head, takes your desires, your hopes, whatever you most long for, and uses them to draw you in. It promises redemption to the guilty conscience, love to the lonely heart… and knowledge to the hungry mind. The minds of mortals are wonderful things. They are powerful enough to take this tune and thoroughly convince themselves they are hearing words, and that those words happen to fulfil even those desires they cannot admit to themselves. And yet, at the
CHAPTER 14The sound of untold things smashing broke her minds, the sounds of glass shattering, the ferocity of eerie screams, and the fading wail of unknown people cries.Nina stared at the woman with blank cold eyes, so cold, and slowly numbing the pain, waiting for the signs of a new day to scatter the stars back to the planets from whence they came. She couldn’t believe how the unbelievable it is, so unclear to her, indeed she was brought up by unknown neighbour's who were later killed ruthlessly by king Imboko.Though, as years went by before she got married to Abednego she knew vividly that one day she will meet her parents."Abednego will be mesmerized," she wondered. She felt something slide out her eye, pushing away crusted blood, as she thought, she would have liked to have gazed at the woman again. A clumsy breath escaped her lungs, bits of her foggy soul escaping along with it, and she couldn&rs
CHAPTER 15Abednego was given a clear information where to get it, it stays in this evil forest, in a long cave found in the forest. The figure is only seen during night hours when there's either bright moon or total darkness. It appears very fat and able to stretch its limbs and torso to inhuman lengths in order to induce fear and ensnare its prey. Once its arms are outstretched, its victims are put into something of a hypnotized state, where they are utterly helpless to stop themselves from walking into them.It is also able to create tendrils from its fingers and back that it uses to walk on in a similar fashion to ogrism. It can absorb, kills, or merely takes its victims to an undisclosed location where it crushes the bones and sucks out bone marrow. It is a terrible figure, its face is pale and ghostly, and appears to have been wrapped in a type of gauze or rotting skin.Th
