MATTHEW POV

I put my wine on the table and returned my gaze to her.

"What's with the long face? Aren't you supposed to be happy that I'm still here?"

I crossed my arms over my chest while keeping my straight face, "Aren't you supposed to be heading your home, Cindy? It's already midnight and I don't want to entertain any more visitors- even if it's my fiancé!"

"But we are getting married soon and I want to spend more time with you, is that too bad to ask? We are both grown-up adults here..."

I am so annoyed with her presence. She is so damn persistent and obsessed with me.

"We should abide by the rules of the Moon Goddess. Fated mates aren't allowed to sleep together not unless they are officially married. Please do not do this again, I do not have any interest in talking to someone in the middle of the night. All I want is to rest my body because I was tired because I've done so much work today."
